One of the factors that motivated The Late Rt. Rev. Archbishop Louis Joseph Cabana to establish our institute of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix (IHMR) was to have women, who adjusting to the signs of the times would continuously evangelize God’s people by teaching catechism in word and deed, especially to children and women and to witness to Christ through their vowed life in all their apostolate. With this in mind, in all their ministries (schools, hospitals or in social services) and in prayer, the IHMR sisters, following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary, try to constantly unite themselves with the Immaculate heart of Mary by doing God’s will in humility, charity and obedience, as a sacrifice of REPARATION for the salvation of souls.
The Institute of IHMR was privileged to be represented at the canonization event by a team of six members at the 26th April 2014 Canonization Event of two popes-John Paul II and his predecessor John XIII.
