IHMR nun wins a Sapientia Award of 2019

Sister Maria Elizabeth Nakku, an international doctoral student in the School of Education, was recently awarded the University Advocates for Women and Equity’s Sapientia Award.

The purpose of this award is to honor individuals for an outstanding piece of work that has as its subject and/or focus a woman or women, or a concern related to women, and that seeks to empower women. Sister

Elizabeth serves as a graduate assistant in the School of Ed was nominated by Jackie Grossklaus. Congratulations to Sister Elizabeth!
